In order to develop a record of the existing condition of facilities in the district, the master planning team has conducted detailed facility assessments. These assessments have been completed and reported in a two step process.
Step One – Facility Condition Index
A team of professionals including architects, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, a roofing specialist, and food service designers conducted on site visual inspections to establish a facility condition index (FCI). The FCI is a ratio of the cost of deferred maintenance and additional needs divided by the cost of replacement. This index is used to determine if a facility should be renovated or replaced. Step Two - Detailed Assessment
Upon determination that it is more feasible to repair a facility than to replace it, a detailed list of all known deficiencies was created. This detailed list is used to establish a scope of work and approximate cost which will be utilized in the overall master plan.
The detailed assessment data is posted below and sorted by facility.
